“From the moment of the interview in the ninth grade, I felt that Genesis was the right choice for Ioana. Why?

There is a focused interest on Ioana’s well-being, her strengths, and opportunities for development. Both teachers with whom I conducted the interview were very open to learning about Ioana, her interests, her human profile, and very honest about presenting the school’s opportunities for the future. My experience as a parent remained positive throughout the high school years because I consistently saw and supported the effort of teachers to stand by students, guide and mentor them, deliver curriculum subjects in engaging and impactful ways for children’s learning process, as well as stand by us, the parents, during a challenging period: our children’s adolescence. Together, we went through difficult situations such as the pandemic or the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, both moments that created a lot of psychological uncertainty for both us and our teenagers. But we overcame them, together, successfully! This is certainly due to the school, which adapted very quickly and came up with innovative and helpful solutions to meet the needs of students and parents, as well as teachers who demonstrated a lot of compassion, moral support, openness to adapting learning and relational conditions.
