The Middle School is an internationally accredited school for the IB MYP programme. The MYP or Middle Years Programme focuses on creativity, critical thinking and reflective thinking.
The MYP programme is combined with elements of the Romanian system. At Genesis College we train students who can learn independently and create links between learning and the real world.

Organization (IB) offers educational programmes in more than 150 countries and is a world leader in education. The objectives of IB educational programmes are to produce adults who are prepared to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in school in any context. The Secondary School is one of the few IB-accredited schools in Romania, and through the MYP programme, our students, from grades V to X, have access to an educational vision with an international outlook. The IB programmes aim to develop self-confident, responsible, empathetic adults who are ready to achieve and manage successful careers.

Founded 23 years ago, Genesis College was the first nationally and internationally accredited private school in Bucharest. In 2007 we set up the Middle School and in 2020 it became a member of the International Baccalaureate. The Middle School is accredited for the Middle Years Programme (MYP), designed for 5th through 10th grade students. The Middle School also offers graduates the opportunity to continue their studies after Year 10 at Genesis College.
