Genesis College, the first accredited private school in Bucharest
Founded 23 years ago, Genesis College holds the accreditation of the Ministry of Education for all education cycles – preschool, primary and secondary, and is authorized for the high school level.
In 2018, Genesis College joined the International Baccalaureate (IB) organization to provide students with educational excellence. Thus, the Romanian curriculum is combined with the requirements of the PYP (Primary Years Programme) – for kindergarten and the primary cycle, MYP (Middle Years Programme) – for middle school and high school, and DP (Diploma Programme) – for high school.
Within Genesis College, there is a wide range of clubs that students can join (sports, arts, languages, financial education, etc.), at all levels of study, giving them the chance to realize their potential beyond class hours.
At Genesis College, the Romanian curriculum is combined with the international style of education
Genesis College students follow the Romanian curriculum, and the subjects are taught by combining them with the international style of education. Here are some of the benefits students in the Genesis community enjoy:
- Clear learning objectives. The Romanian curriculum provides a framework for achieving clear learning objectives. At the same time, the international curriculum facilitates the outline of new learning objectives that are recognized worldwide, giving students a global perspective on their academic future.
- Educational programmes at high standards. Both national and international curricula improve the quality of education by setting high standards. Through the facilities that students have at Genesis College (classrooms with appropriate furniture, fully equipped laboratories, sports grounds), we ensure that they receive a high-quality education that meets the demands of a modern world.
- More opportunities. Through access to international programmes, students can benefit from a wide range of opportunities. Thus, they develop skills such as adaptability, critical thinking and the ability to learn throughout life, qualities that are valued anywhere in the world. Also, by being exposed to different cultures and ideas through the international curriculum, students broaden their horizons and become more empathetic and tolerant of those around them.
