Facilities Genesis College
Genesis College campuses offer students a diverse range of facilities, designed to stimulate and support their development. In addition to spacious and bright classrooms, students benefit from access to various additional spaces and resources. These include language and computer science labs, as well as a science lab, complementing their educational experience.
Genesis Labs creates an innovative learning environment dedicated to supporting students in every physics, chemistry, biology, science and technology class. Students access the most advanced equipment they need to carry out chemical reactions, practical works, various experiments in fundamental physics or biological phenomena, sensory class for music, fine arts workshop.
With study and reading rooms in libraries organized according to IB criteria, which have numerous collections and volumes, students have, first of all, the benefit of a humane, warm and motivating environment. Our aim is to help them build a foundation of learning skills that will enable them to acquire knowledge and evolve to become independent.
In addition, students benefit from the existence of spacious rooms where meals are served, and the food is fresh, nutritionally balanced, and carefully prepared in our own kitchen or catered by carefully selected suppliers.
The well-being of students is a constant priority ensured by permanent medical assistance, provided by the staff of our medical offices. Students also have access to psycho-pedagogical counselling to support them in their emotional and social development.
To promote outdoor movement and activity, campuses feature outdoor sports fields, indoor sports fields, and an indoor physical education hall.
Social areas and outdoor activities, permanent medical assistance, permanent security and monitoring, school minibus fleet, etc. are the logistical means that help ensure the well-being of students.
Genesis Kipinä Kindergarten
The children at Genesis Kipinä Kindergarten enjoy the care of an attentive and dedicated team, but also a series of spaces and resources to stimulate their creativity and desire to discover the world.
The classrooms are bright, tidy and airy, equipped according to Kipinä standards – with modular furniture made of natural wood, and the floor is made of light oak wood, treated for antibacterial properties. The comfort of the little ones in their moments of sleep and relaxation is ensured by special blinds, treated with antibacterial and flame retardant substances, with which the amount of light entering the rooms is controlled.
On a daily basis, children have access to unique educational spaces and areas for interactive and exploration, learning through discovery and practising social skills. The little ones have at their disposal an innovative room – Music & Reading Room – specially arranged with musical instruments, as well as an impressive library with more than 1,900 books in Romanian and five foreign languages – English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Role-playing games, puppet shows or other events have their special place at the Imaginarium, a space where children find various accessories and costumes, but also a kitchen area, shops and a dollhouse.
Indoor play spaces, such as the Indoor Play Room, and outdoor playgrounds provide a good context for children to develop gross motor skills and social skills.
EduGarden is the outdoor learning space. Children have at their disposal comfortable furniture made of solid oak for activities in nature – art, science, storytelling, music. Learning activities take place daily outside the classroom, because at Genesis Kipinä Kindergarten, every moment is a moment of learning through exploration and discovery.
Friendship City, the small outdoor town, a representation of the community in which the little ones live, simulates real-life actions and allows children to practise various actions or pursuits – Market Place, Hospital, Police Station, even a cottage, all offer children the ideal context for developing practical life skills. The daily program does not lack moments of play and play at the sensory areas – Mud Kitchen and the sandbox, equipped with the necessary accessories.
Sports activities take place daily both in the gym and on the two outdoor sports fields, spaces that provide conditions for children to participate in various activities, adapted to each stage of their development.
Love and care for nature are learned by the little ones through activities in areas specially created to encourage and stimulate learning processes. EcoGarden, the flower and aromatic herbs garden that the little ones take care of, and the green spaces, are specially arranged for the little ones to spend time close to nature.
The well-being and comfort of children are ensured throughout the kindergarten programme by the constant presence of the staff from the medical office. The meals that the little ones eat are healthy and nutritionally balanced, cooked in our own kitchen and served in a dining room with furniture adapted to the height of the children. In fact, all the furniture elements in the kindergarten are created and installed to be suitable for the height of the children, as well as the accessories in the toilets, for easy access and encouraging the independence and autonomy of the children.
