Crina Pintea | Teacher of Romanian Language and Literature
For Crina Pintea, being a teacher involves more than a vocation, it also involves emotion and dedication. She graduated from the Faculty of Letters at “Babeș Bolyai“ University and is the CEAC coordinator.
Goals: “I build my lessons as ‘facts of life’, in the sense that I aim, first of all, to take into account the particularities of each student, the aspects that underline their uniqueness, and then to focus my attention on the concepts that my students will learn. I build the grammar lesson as a story, offering students a more accessible and fun way of learning Romanian grammar”.

My wish is that, through the activities carried out with the pupils I guide, they acquire experiences that will have a strong impact on their activities, both at school and in their family and social environments. Paula Marcu | MYP English Teacher
Paula discovered her passion for languages and different cultures and civilisations as a child. Over the years she has studied ten foreign languages, both at the University of Bucharest and during intensive courses at schools in European, American and Asian cities. Each new foreign language learnt also implies a slightly different view of the surrounding reality and the human condition, thus contributing to a more nuanced individual perception of contemporary society. Moreover, it challenges learners through the discussion of innovative content to broaden their perspective on the world and through the interdisciplinary approach to each unit of study.
Goals: “I want to inspire in secondary school students a passion for lifelong learning and the joy of discovering other cultures through languages, as well as the desire to constantly create new connections.
