A Day With Us

For us, an ordinary day is more than a set of compulsory courses. It is an enriching experience, a way of learning that helps to increase creativity and self-confidence, and provides the premises for stimulating motivation and performance.

School activities take place in a comfortable space that meets the most stringent standards of protection or hygiene.

Between 08:15 a.m. – 4:10 p.m., children will take part in activities that follow the National Curriculum and in alternative activities, through the Genesis Enrichment programme.

At 8.15 a.m. children start the formal education classes, which follow the National Curriculum and the principles of the IB international programme Primary Years Programme, for the primary school and the Middle Years Programme, for the secondary school. At 9.00 a.m., breakfast is served.

The daily schedule also includes fruit snacks, which the students serve at 10.55 a.m. and at 3.15 p.m.

The most important meal, lunch, starting at 12.45 p.m., is the time of the day that links the two types of programmes – the discipline-based curriculum and the activities that are included in the Enrichment programme, along with the knowledge building classes.

In addition, between 4:20 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., students will participate in different activities at Genesis School, based on their interests, needs and desires:

  • game and relaxation activities for the students in primary school;
  • skills improvement and performance achievement for the students in secondary school;
  • catching up the school curriculum and a variety of clubs.

The second part of the day provides both extra support for the educational side as well as relaxation and entertainment.
