An experienced Learning Support teacher is needed for the Elementary school.

Some of the key tasks in this role include:

  • Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support assessment for learning of their students with additional educational needs and identify specific learning and support needs
  • Plan, implement, model, and monitor teaching programs for students with additional learning and support needs in conjunction with regular classroom teachers
  • Plan, implement, model, monitor and evaluate personalized adjustments for learning where required, with the classroom teacher, student and/or parent
  • Model exemplary classroom practice when tailoring adjusted learning programs for students with additional learning needs
  • Teach either individuals or small groups of students within or outside the class
  • Provide direct support for students with additional learning and support needs through a range of strategies (including direct instruction, delivery of adjusted learning programs, assessment and monitoring of progress) including the areas of social integration, language and communication, literacy, numeracy and behavior. This may include students with confirmed disabilities
  • Provide professional specialist advice, support and mentoring to classroom teachers on: how best to cater for the diverse learning needs in their classrooms, and how to effectively work in partnership with families to maximize learning opportunities for students at school and at home
  • Assess students who may have learning difficulties and working with colleagues to identify individual students’ needs
  • Provide professional specialist advice and assistance about students with additional learning needs to the school’s learning and support team
  • Assist with professional development related to learning support needs for all faculty members

Successful candidates will have:

  • A recognized qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Elementary students
  • Experience and training in working with EAL students
  • Strong collaborative skills, patient, enthusiastic and flexible.
  • Ability to effectively and appropriate integrate technology
  • Experience in a multi-cultural setting
  • PYP experience and training (preferred)
  • Mother tongue English or an equivalent level of fluency is required.

Kipinä Nursery Teachers will plan, lead, guide and motivate the development of Kipinä’s students’ cognitive, social, personal, physical and emotional development, develop their language, literacy and numeracy skills and help them achieve specific learning goals as outlined by the Kipinä curriculum. 

  • Teacher’s will develop their own lesson plans, establish and prepare activities for each class in line with the curriculum goals.
  • Teachers will also be the liaison point for all parents or caregivers of the students. They will develop and monitor the students’ abilities and challenges and provide early intervention solutions if required. Teachers will keep accurate records and assessments of each student’s progress in the class. 
  • They will oversee the health and safety of the students during all activities including inside and outside the nursery environment. 
  • They will also work with and supervise Teaching Assistants and must have a passion for developing, motivating and stimulating young people. 
  • They must also have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents/care givers and colleagues. 
  • They will have strong organizational, managerial and time management skills. 
  • They must be equipped with the personality to work in dynamic environments and deal with all kinds of behaviors in a patient and loving manner. Patience, discipline, a sense of adventure and a good sense of humor is a must. 

Qualifications Kipinä Teachers must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education or Primary School or a higher qualification with at least two years of teaching experience in an early childhood education or primary school environment.

  • They must be fluent in both written and spoken English. 
  • They must be adept with integrating technology as a 21st century teaching element. 
  • They must be native English speakers primarily, however exceptions can be made based on overall ability to manage the Kipinä program in the classroom.

Job Skills

Working as a drama teacher requires flexibility, determination, and lots of energy. Especially when teaching in a school environment, dedication to the task at hand and a love of your job will serve you well.

As a drama teacher, you will be responsible for guiding kindergarten and school students through some of the most important stages of their education, 

The majority of your time will be spent preparing lesson plans and teaching pupils in accordance with the national curriculum. However, teaching drama will give you license to use creative, interactive and engaging teaching methods, such as games, role-play, storytelling, hot seating and tableaux.

A drama teacher’s role, however, isn’t just about playing games and directing end-of-term plays. Drama courses do also involve written work from time to time. Indeed, you’ll also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing them with the necessary feedback, criticism, encouragement and support.

You’ll also be responsible for helping students prepare for crucial examinations and directing final performances, which will be watched and assessed by an external moderator. You may also get the opportunity to take part in events and projects outside of the classroom, such as taking pupils on theatre trips.

Teaching, however, is not all about working with young students. Frequently, you will have to attend meetings with other teaching staff, undertake in-service training and meet with pupils’ parents to discuss their progress at parents’ evenings.

On a pastoral support level, you may be required to provide counselling and guidance to students who are facing learning difficulties. This may involve referring students to other relevant authorities and professionals who may be able to help them.

Drama teachers also need to keep their skills fresh. Consequently, you’ll be required to keep up-to-date on new teaching methods and developments in the curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s Degree or higher and a teaching certificate

Language Arts endorsement

Endorsement in Theater or Drama -Or- At least two years prior experience in teaching

Speech or Drama or related course 

Ability to establish collaborative relationships with teaching staff

Prior experience in creating year-long curriculum

Candidates preferably will have had prior college-level theatrical/debate team experience

Teaching Assistant Job Description Kipinä’s Teaching Assistant’s (TA) will support the development of Kipinä’s students under direct supervision and guidance from the Teacher. 

They will motivate and stimulate the student’s learning abilities, often using play activities, interact with and support the student’s providing them with:

  • a secure environment to learn, 
  • support with producing visual aids and teaching resources, 
  • assist with the development of personal/social and language abilities, 
  • support the development of a child’s basic skills including physical coordination, speech and communication, 
  • encourage the student’s learning and creativity through stories, songs, games, drawings and imaginative play, 
  • develop their curiosity and knowledge, observe and support the teacher with assessments and reports, ensure the health and safety of the children both inside and outside the nursery. 
  • They must be highly trustworthy, dependable, and attentive to children’s needs. 
  • They will assist with marking and correcting work, helping with daily events and activities as it relates to implementation of the curriculum. 
  • They will supervise children’s playtimes when the nursery opens and closes, engage children in learning and play activities, support the administration functions for the Teacher such as helping to maintain and update records, keeping the classroom tidy and functional, working with other team members as and when required. 

The Teaching Assistant must be high energy, proactive and motivated, good at working with and playing with children, strong in organization, teamwork and time management. 

  • They must be happy, fun, loving and professional in dealing with both parents and students. 
  • They must be flexible, patient, good at listening and communicating.
  • They must have knowledge of curriculum, and different methods of teaching curriculum, children’s stories, rhymes, sports games and technology as an instrument to learn from. 
  • Musts be professional, punctual and reliable workers who are good with early starting times and later departures. 
  • At least 3-4 years of experience working in other nurseries and/or primary schools. 
  • They must be fluent in both spoken and written English. 
  • A second language is an asset.

This is an organic, developmental role and the post requires the PYP Teacher-Librarian to be service-orientated, ensuring that key stakeholders are included in the change programme and that the changes meet the requirements of these stakeholders. Main Responsibilities:

The PYP Learning Centre supports the curriculum needs of students and teachers and professional development and curriculum innovation at Genesis College. The PYP teacher-librarian’s management of the centre’s day-to-day functions is critical to its success as a support for learning at Genesis College. This work ensures the accessibility of current and relevant resources to PYP teachers and students.

Consultative Service:

The teacher-librarian works to support the ongoing professional development of teaching staff.

The teacher-librarian will:

Provide informal one-on-one support to teachers regarding resources in a variety of formats and strategies for their use

Work with Coordinators, class teachers and specialist teachers to support curriculum innovations at Genesis College

Actively promote student information literacy across the curriculum

Preschool and Primary School Director of International Learning is reporting to the Head of School, and working also in conjunction with the Kindergarten Principal and Primary School Principal. This principal-level position is a strategic response to meet the school’s needs toward its goal of excellence in teaching and learning.

The position shall provide leadership and coordination in the development and implementation of curriculum in Primary School, lead the national and PYP learning program and coordinate schoolwide PD opportunities, work with staff on strategies for curriculum articulation, and assessment and enrichment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Curriculum: Collaborate with the Head of School, Divisional Leadership, the IB Coordinators, and other

relevant positions to ensure the coordination and articulation of the Primary School program, Director of Learning Development has a strategic role and focuses on analyzing organizational needs for development, and to inspire a cohesive teaching and learning ethos at Genesis College.

  • Provide leadership and collaborate with Principals and Vice Principals in the analysis and use of assessment data to inform instruction and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Facilitate the regular review of curriculum and student assessment protocols through a schoolwide curriculum review cycle (to be established).
  • Embed and foster a schoolwide curriculum planning process in all curriculum areas (to be established).
  • Collaborate with and support curriculum-related positions (i.e. IB Coordinators) to ensure high levels of impact and articulation.
  • Provide support to team leaders, subject area leaders, and department representatives to ensure schoolwide alignment and Primary School coordination and alignment of the curriculum.
  • Lead the review and development of a whole school approach to serving the needs of Primary School learners. Work with Divisional leadership to monitor program effectiveness.
  • Lead the review and development of a whole school approach to serving the needs of Genesis College Learning Support program.
  • Collaborate with the Primary School Director to ensure technology integration is through the lens of curriculum.
  • Make decisions in accordance with research best practices.
  • Lead new faculty orientation in the areas of instruction, curriculum, and assessment programs.
  • Communicate within the Genesis School School Community on curricular matters, including meeting with parents and/or providing written articles for school publications and the school’s online presence.
  • Supervise and support the learning support staff throughout the school. Work closely with the Head of School and Principals in the implementation of a teacher evaluation system.
  • Be responsible for exploring and promoting new and valuable educational learning opportunities for students (i.e. seminars, conferences, symposiums, programs, trips, camps)

Professional Learning: Work to develop and nurture a professional and collaborative environment that

equips the faculty and staff to embrace and resolve complex issues impacting student learning.

  • Lead the collaboration with Divisional Principals, IB Coordinators, and other relevant positions, to identify needed professional learning opportunities for the school.
  • Facilitate whole-school professional learning to support strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and develop the Genesis School professional development/professional learning program and evaluate the impact of the professional learning experience for all stakeholder groups.
  • Identify and coordinate the most appropriate model for professional learning (bringing in a consultant, sending out teachers, or stipend existing professional learning funds) to support the goals for professional learning.
  • Conduct professional learning sessions, both small-scale and large-scale, that employ best practices for professional learning, exhibit a wide-range of strategies, modes, and models and that incorporate technology integration when appropriate.

  1. Resources and Materials: Secure resources (human, materials, time) to support the curriculum.
  • Work in conjunction with the Head of School and Divisional Principals to collaborate in the design of classrooms and learning spaces.
  • Develop and maintain a PYP professional library.
  • Respond to individual and group needs in support of implementation and monitoring of the curriculum.

  • Collaborate with the Primary School Director.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive budget for the Teaching and Learning Office.

  • Submit half-yearly and annual reports.
  • Support the Director in entering data into the Romanian Integrated Education Information System (SIIIR);
  • Responsible for / managing the education, pedagogy, safety, health and development of kindergarten children;

  • Compliance with the legislative framework regarding hygiene, safety and quality of childcare;

An experienced English Support teacher is needed for Middle School

Some of the key tasks in this role include:

Middle School Director of International Learning is reporting to the Head of School, and working also in conjunction with the Middle School Principal. This principal-level position is a strategic response to meet the school’s needs toward its goal of excellence in teaching and learning.

The position shall provide leadership and coordination in the development and implementation of curriculum, lead the national and MYP learning program and coordinate schoolwide opportunities, work with staff on strategies for curriculum articulation, and assessment and enrichment.

As a key leader within the school, the post-holder is expected to demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct and be a positive ambassador for Genesis College at all times. This is a senior post within the school and as such the post holder will be expected to make significant contributions to whole school planning and issues in addition to the principle responsibilities within the faculty areas. High School Director of International Learning is reporting to the Head of School, and working also in conjunction with the High School Principal. This principal-level position is a strategic response to meet the school’s needs toward its goal of excellence in teaching and learning.

Ce responsabilități vei avea, în cadrul echipei Genesis College?

  • întocmirea, actualizarea și gestionarea bazelor de date;

  • rezolvarea problemelor specifice pregătirii și desfășurării examenelor și evaluărilor naționale, ale examenelor de admitere și de ocupare a posturilor vacante;
  • completarea, verificarea, păstrarea în condiții de securitate și arhivarea documentelor referitoare la situația școlară a elevilor și a statelor de funcții;
  • procurarea, completarea, eliberarea și evidența actelor de studii și a documentelor școlare;

The Genesis story began in 2000, with the desire to provide children the best quality early education, to develop their skills in a secure environment and to open the way for the next stages of learning.

Genesis College is a member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) organization, providing students with programs of excellence, following the Romanian curriculum, combined with primary Years Programme (PYP) requirements for kindergarten and primary school, and MYP (Middle Years Programme), for gymnasium and high school. 

For now, we have 400 children who learn, explore, communicate and cooperate at Genesis College, in a safe emotional environment where they are encouraged to discover themselves, to set high goals and to follow them passionately.

Because we are increasing our team, we need an admission and development manager, who can share the mission and values of Genesis College.

  • The function involves advising management to improve efficiency and performance, including by starting new projects to promote the school.
  • As an admission director, you will meet all parents and students interested in school, present them to the school and help them integrate into the beautiful Genesis College community.
  • The Access Manager offers educational and vocational orientation services, motivational support to develop the personal autonomy of pupils.
  • Identify pupils ’ skills, interests, competences and assess the level of vocational development through specific methodological procedures according to the specific aptitude inventories, tests and tools.
  • Provide information to parents as requested on their admission to Genesis College Teoretic High School, in a proactive manner, whenever is necessary.
  • Support the organisation of events with logistical and administrative aspects as required by the Management Genesis College Team.
  • Stimulating interest in and identifying the vocational development route with regard to skills, motivation, educational attainment, the scope of objectives set for the short, medium and long-term objectives of the pupils.
  • Communication with parents of pupils by telephone and e-mail aimed at facilitating admission-related information
  • Welcoming families to the Genesis campus with a welcoming and proactive attitude 
  • Designing and implementing pilot product testing programmes provided by the school.
  • Delivering the school’s development and admission plans, preparing whenever needed at any conference or meeting with a collaborating partner, presentations of the performance of the school.

Ce responsabilități va avea directorul de admitere și dezvoltare, în cadrul echipei Genesis College?

 

  • Funcția presupune consilierea conducerii în vederea eficientizării și îmbunătățirii performanțelor, inclusiv prin demararea de noi proiecte în direcția promovării școlii.
  • În calitate de director de admitere, îi veți întâlni pe toți părinții și elevii interesați de școală, le veți prezenta școala și îi veți ajuta să se integreze în frumoasa comunitate Genesis College.
  • Directorul de admitere oferă servicii de orientare educațională și vocațională, de susținere motivațională în vederea dezvoltării autonomiei personale a elevilor.
  • Identifica aptitudinile, interesele, competențele elevilor și evaluează nivelul de dezvoltare vocațional, prin proceduri metodologice specifice conform inventarelor aptitudinale, testelor și instrumentelor specifice.
  • Furnizează informații părinților conform solicitării acestora, referitor la admiterea în cadrul Liceului Teoretic Genesis College, într-o manieră proactivă, ori de câte ori este necesar.
  • Sprijină organizarea de evenimente cu aspecte logistice și administrative, conform cerințelor consiliului director.
  • Stimularea interesului și identificarea rutei de dezvoltare vocațională ținând cont de aptitudini, motivație, nivel școlar, sfera de interese ale obiectivelor stabilite pe termen scurt, mediu și lung ale elevilor.
  • Comunicarea cu părinții elevilor prin telefon și e-mail ce vizează facilitarea informațiilor legate de admitere

Ce responsabilități vei avea în cadrul echipei Genesis College?

  • Realizarea coordonării activităților unității de învățământ preuniversitar, în conformitate cu atribuțiile conferite de legislația în vigoare și cu hotărârile consiliului de administrație al unității de învățământ, 
  • Manifestarea loialității față de unitatea de învățământ, credibilitate și responsabilitate în deciziile sale, încredere în capacitățile angajaților, încurajează și susține colegii, în vederea motivării pentru formare continuă și pentru crearea în unitate a unui climat optim desfășurării procesului de învățământ.
  • Sprijină directorul în realizarea activității de îndrumare și control asupra activității întregului personal salariat al unității de învățământ.

What are your responsibilities for the Genesis College team?

  • Coordinating the activities of the pre-university educational establishment, in accordance with the powers conferred by the legislation in force and the decisions of the Board of Governors of the educational establishment, 
  • The display of loyalty to the educational unit, credibility and accountability in its decisions, trust in the skills of its employees, encourage and support colleges with a view to motivating them for ongoing training and creating a single environment in which they can carry out their education.
  • It supports the Director in his mentoring and control over the work of all the staff employed by the educational establishment. 
  • They are working with the staff of the doctor’s office.
  • Submit half-yearly and annual reports.
  • Support the Director in entering data into the Romanian Integrated Education Information System (SIIIR);
  • Responsible for / managing the education, pedagogy, safety, health and development of kindergarten children;
  • Coordination of educational actions and their implementation;
  • Compliance with the legislative framework regarding hygiene, safety and quality of childcare;
  • Coordination of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the parents of the children.

What do you need to be part of our team?

  • The ideal candidate brings with it a good experience of all aspects of education and care for children; prior experience in a similar position or in more than five years is required as a crèche / kindergarten teacher;

Ce responsabilități va avea coordonatorul pentru proiecte și programe educative școlare și extrașcolare în cadrul echipei Genesis College?

  • Iniţiază, organizează şi desfăşoară activităţile extracurriculare:
  • Stabilirea acţiunilor în concordanţă cu nevoile educative ale colectivului de elevi 
  • Antrenarea grupurilor ţintă în desfăşurarea activităţilor.
  • Asigurarea bazei logistice pentru activităţile extracurriculare şi concursuri şcolare
  • Sprijinirea vieţii asociative a elevilor (consiliul elevilor, cercuri, redacţii reviste, radio) etc. 
  • Îndrumă activitatea comisiei ariei curriculare Consiliere şi orientare şi activităţi extracurriculare:
  • Supervizarea activităţilor de formare continuă organizate la nivelul comisiei
  • Participarea la programe de formare şi autoformare continuă în management educaţional şi informarea la zi în domeniu
  • Oferă informaţii în legătură cu oferta educaţională a şcolii,  instituţiilor/ organizaţiilor interesate
  • Stabilirea legăturilor cu autorităţile locale, mass-media, unităţi de învăţământ, agenţi economici
  • Elaborează şi implementează programe/proiecte de educaţie civică, promovarea sănătăţii, culturale, ecologice, sportive şi turistice:
  • Număr de parteneriate cu instituţii naţionale şi regionale de cultură, Inspectoratul pentru Sănătatea Publică, organele de poliţie, pompieri, Agenţia pentru Protecţia Mediului, O.N.G.-uri, cluburile copiilor şi sportive.
  • Coordonează, monitorizează și evaluează activitatea educativă non-formală din școală;
  • Avizează planificarea activităților din cadrul programului activităților educative al școlii;
  • Elaborează programul activităților educative școlare și extrașcolare proprii, în conformitate cu planul de dezvoltare instituțională.
  • Elaborează, propune și implementează proiecte și programe educative de intervenție și prevenire a absenteismului, a abandonului școlar, a violenței, a delicvenței juvenile, precum și programe pentru dezvoltarea abilităților de viață, de educație civică, promovarea sănătății, programe culturale, ecologice, sportive și turistice, educație rutieră, protecție civilă;
  • Identifică tipurile de activități extrașcolare care corespund nevoilor elevilor, precum și posibilitățile de realizare a acestora prin consultarea beneficiarilor primari și secundari ai educației;
  • Analizează, semestrial, împreună cu alte comisii existente din școală, situația disciplinară a elevilor și situația frecvenței acestora la orele de curs;
  • Prezintă directorului școlii rapoarte privind activitatea educativă și rezultatele acesteia;
  • Diseminează informațiile privind activitățile educative derulate în școală;
  • Facilitează implicarea părinților și a partenerilor educaționali în activitățile educative;
  • Elaborează tematici și propune forme de desfășurare a consultațiilor cu părinții, tutorii sau susținătorii legali pe teme educative;
  • Propune/elaborează instrumente de evaluare a activității educative nonformale desfășurate la nivelul școlii;

As we grow our team, we need a Coordinator of School and Out-of-School Educational Projects and Programs who can shares Genesis College’s mission and values.

What responsibilities will have the Coordinator for School and Extracurricular Educational Projects and Programs, within the Genesis College team?

  • Initiates, organizes and conducts extracurricular activities:
  • Establish actions in accordance with the educational needs of the student body. 
  • Coaching target groups in the development of activities.
  • Providing the logistical basis for extracurricular activities and school competitions
  • Supporting pupils’ associative life (pupil council, clubs, magazine editors, radio), etc. 
  • Directing the work of the curriculum area committee Counselling and guidance and extracurricular activities:
  • Supervise continuing education activities organised at committee level.
  • Participate in continuous training and self-training programmes in educational management and up-to-date information in the field
  • Providing information on the educational offer of the school, interested institutions/organisations
  • Establishing links with local authorities, media, educational establishments, economic agents
  • Develops and implements civic education, health promotion, cultural, environmental, sports and tourism programmes/projects:
  • Number of partnerships with national and regional cultural institutions, Public Health Inspectorate, police bodies, fire brigades, Environmental Protection Agency, NGOs, children’s and sports clubs.
  • Coordinates, monitors and evaluates non-formal educational activity in the school;
  • Approves the planning of activities within the school’s programme of educational activities;
  • Develops the programme of the school’s own curricular and extra-curricular educational activities in accordance with the institutional development plan.
  • Develops, proposes and implements educational projects and programmes for intervention and prevention of absenteeism, dropout, violence, juvenile delinquency, as well as programmes for the development of life skills, civic education, health promotion, cultural, environmental, sports and tourism programmes, road safety education, civil protection;
  • Identify the types of out-of-school activities that meet the needs of pupils and the possibilities for their implementation in consultation with primary and secondary beneficiaries of education;
  • Analyses, on a half-yearly basis, together with other existing committees in the school, the pupils’ disciplinary situation and their attendance in class;
  • Reports to the school principal on the educational activity and its results;
  • Disseminates information on the educational activities carried out in the school;
  • Facilitates the involvement of parents and educational partners in educational activities;
  • Develops topics and proposes forms of consultation with parents, guardians or legal guardians on educational issues;
  • Proposes/develops evaluation tools for non-formal educational activities carried out at school level;
  • Facilitates study visits for pupils, in the country and abroad, within the framework of educational partnership programmes.

Înființată în urmă cu 22 de ani, instituția Genesis College a fost prima școală privată acreditată în București, prin ordinul Ministrului Educației. Genesis College este de asemenea școală acreditată IB (International Baccalaureate) pentru ciclul educațional Primary Years Programme, care acoperă ciclul preșcolar și cel primar din sistemul românesc, și pentru Middle Years Programme, care acoperă gimnaziul și primii doi ani de liceu din sistemul românesc, ambele menite să faciliteze accesul elevilor noștri la marile licee și universități din lume.

Având în prezent peste 100 de angajați și peste 400 de elevi, cu o echipă unită de calitatea educației, școala noastră se plasează în primele rânduri ale practicii educaționale moderne, în același timp în care păstrează valorile educației tradiționale. Cadrele didactice foarte bine pregătite și modelul nostru distinct de învățământ stau la baza unui mediu educațional de cea mai înaltă performanță. Un element component esențial al curriculumului Genesis College este propriul program de Enrichment, în care copiii își dezvoltă abilitățile socio-emoționale, pe cele STEM, înclinațiile artistice și sportive, și capacitățile intelectuale.

  • Managerul Administrativ se subordonează Directorului General, directorilor și coordonatorilor școlii, și colaborează în mod direct cu Coordonatorul de e-Learning;
  • Managerul Administrativ organizează și supraveghează sistemele administrative și personalul auxiliar din schema administrativă a școlii, fiind responsabil pentru buna desfășurare a proceselor administrative, financiare și organizaționale, având permanent grijă să respecte condițiile de confidențialitate. De asemenea, sprijină activitățile de planificare și de dezvoltare pentru serviciile auxiliare.

Principalele îndatoriri ale postului sunt în general următoarele:

Organizare:

  • Supraveghează activitatea cotidiană a personalului administrativ din instituție,
  • Contribuie la planificarea, dezvoltarea și organizarea sistemelor de servicii auxiliare, inclusiv proceduri și politici de acțiune,
  • Supraveghează, instruiește și dezvoltă personalul administrativ după necesități,
  • Organizează vizite în școală și evenimente, coordonează activitatea fotografului școlii etc.
  • Se asigură că toți vizitatorii sunt primiți cu căldură, dar și cu respectarea procedurilor de securitate. Se îngrijește de asigurarea ospitalității în funcție de împrejurări.

Administrație:

  • Redactează materiale scrise la computer, desfășoară activități cu suport informatic și se ocupă de corespondența instituției. Supraveghează și folosește echipamente și sisteme informatice (de exemplu, sistemul MIS al școlii),
  • Furnizează sprijin personal, organizatoric și administrativ angajaților și conducerii școlii,
  • Coordonează procesul de înscriere și admitere a copiilor în instituția școlară, ține la zi listele de așteptare și alocă spațiile de creșă și grădiniță conform regulamentului de admitere,
  • Ține evidența dosarelor copiilor înscriși, fiind responsabil pentru completarea și depunerea formularelor și celorlalte documente prevăzute în regulament,
  • Desfășoară activitatea aferentă primei zile de prezență, ține evidența absențelor/întârzierilor și comunică echipei de conducere superioară orice eventuale probleme în acest sens,
  • Rezolvă eventualele neconcordanțe din evidența veniturilor încasate și are în grijă păstrarea în siguranță a banilor numerar.

Resurse:

  • Are în responsabilitate comandarea resurselor necesare, cu cel mai bun raport calitate/preț,
  • Sfătuiește și îndrumă personalul în privința problemelor administrative,
  • Se ocupă de procedurile de administrare financiară în conformitate cu reglementările financiare în vigoare și ține evidențele necesare, în forma corespunzătoare pentru controlul financiar intern,
  • Oferă asistență în activitățile de marketing și promovare ale instituției școlare, atunci când este solicitat și așa cum i se solicită,
  • Oferă asistență în organizarea activităților de reparații, sub îndrumarea Managerului Administrativ al Trustului.

  • Contribuie la îndeplinirea obiectivelor generale ale instituției în materie de etos/muncă/țeluri
  • Dedicat asigurării și promovării stării de bine a copiilor și tinerilor
  • Respectarea politicilor și procedurilor legate de protecția copiilor, sănătate și securitate, confidențialitate și protecția datelor personale, șanse egale, și raportarea tuturor eventualelor probleme în acest sens către persoanele îndrituite
  • Dezvoltarea unor relații constructive și buna comunicare cu tot personalul și cu alte instituții/persoane
  • Participarea la instruiri și alte activități de învățare și dezvoltare a performanței, după necesități
  • Recunoașterea propriilor atuuri și domenii de competență, și valorificarea lor pentru a-i sfătui și a-i susține pe alții

  5. Bune abilități de ascultare activă și de comunicare eficace după aceea. O parte importantă a muncii va consta în comunicare scrisă, ceea ce face indispensabilă stăpânirea exprimării corecte gramatical și a punctuației corecte. Comunicarea scrisă trebuie să fie bine organizată, concisă și convingătoare.

The Genesis story began in 2000 out of a desire to provide children with the highest quality early education, to develop their skills in a safe environment and to pave the way for the next stages of learning.

Genesis College is a member of the International Baccalaureate (IB) organisation, offering students programmes of excellence, following the Romanian curriculum, combined with the requirements of the PYP (Primary Years Programme), for nursery and primary school, and MYP (Middle Years Programme), for middle and high school. 

Today, 400 children learn, explore, communicate and cooperate at Genesis College in an emotionally safe environment where they are encouraged to self-discover, set high goals and pursue them with passion.

The Administrative Manager reports to the General Manager, principals and school coordinators, and collaborates directly with the e-Learning Coordinator;

The Administrative Manager organizes and supervises the administrative systems and the auxiliary staff from the administrative scheme of the school, being responsible for the good development of the administrative, financial and organizational processes, always taking care to respect the conditions of confidentiality. It also supports planning and development activities for ancillary services.

The main duties of the post are generally the following:

Organization:

  • Supervises the daily activity of the administrative staff of the institution,
  • Contribute to the planning, development and organization of ancillary services systems, including procedures and policies for action,
  • Supervises, trains and develops administrative staff as needed,
  • Organizes school visits and events, coordinates the activity of the school photographer, etc.
  • Ensures that all visitors are received warmly, but also in compliance with security procedures. He takes care of the hospitality according to the circumstances.

Administration:

  • Writes written materials on a computer, carries out activities with computer support and handles the correspondence of the institution. Supervises and uses computer equipment and systems (eg school MIS system),
  • Provides personal, organizational and administrative support to school staff and management,
  • Coordinates the process of enrolling and admitting children in the school, keeps the waiting lists up to date and allocates the nursery and kindergarten spaces according to the admission regulations,
  • Keeps records of registered children, being responsible for completing and submitting the forms and other documents provided for in the regulation,
  • Carries out the activity related to the first day of attendance, keeps records of absences / delays and communicates to the senior management team any possible problems in this regard,
  • Resolves any discrepancies in the income statement and takes care to keep cash safe.

Resources:

  • It is responsible for ordering the necessary resources, with the best value for money,
  • Advise and guide staff on administrative matters,
  • Carries out the financial management procedures in accordance with the financial regulations in force and keeps the necessary records, in the appropriate form for internal financial control,
  • Provides assistance in the marketing and promotion activities of the school, when requested and as requested,
  • Provides assistance in organizing repair activities, under the guidance of the Trust Management Manager.

Responsibility

  • Contributes to the fulfillment of the general objectives of the institution in terms of ethos / work / goals
  • Dedicated to ensuring and promoting the well-being of children and young people
  • Respecting policies and procedures related to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and protection of personal data, equal opportunities, and reporting any possible problems in this regard to legal persons
  • Developing constructive relationships and good communication with all staff and other institutions / individuals
  • Participate in training and other learning and performance development activities, as needed
  • Recognizing one’s own strengths and areas of expertise, and capitalizing on them to advise and support others
  • Active participation in regular meetings with the Trust Management Manager, in which to provide up-to-date information, discuss ways to develop the administrative function and communicate any issues
  • Any other responsibilities assigned in accordance with the status of the post.
