The Astronomy and Space Sciences Club aims to present to the students basic knowledge about the Cosmos (Solar System, Milky Way, other galaxies, stars, asteroids, planetary systems, the formation and evolution of celestial bodies), as well as the technology used for its research (robotic telescopes). , artificial satellites, space missions, life on the International Space Station (ISS)), having interdisciplinary connections with physics, mathematics, ICT, geography, chemistry, biology as well as with history and communication. The club is intended for all students in the high school classes, is free and runs throughout the school year. This club is coordinated by Professor Claudia Cocoșilă and will be held weekly, on Thursdays.
